Theme:     Learning languages is so great!

Aims:      - to develop pupils’ ability in speaking Kazakh, English and Russian languages;

                -to practice using vocabulary in speech;

               - to develop pupils’ memory and attention;

               - to teach pupils to know about the history of our country and about the English-speaking countries.

Procedure :

I.    Introduction.

II.  Rounds of the game.

• “Baiga” (Questions about the history and geography of Kazakhstan and Great Britain.)
• “Complete the Proverbs”
• “Famous people of Kazakhstan and Great Britain”
• “Find the Antonyms”

III. Conclusion of the game. Rewarding of the winners.

         Presenter: - Dear pupils, teachers and guests! We’re glad to see you here. Welcome to our party “Learning languages is so great”. It will be in a form of  a game “Polyglot”.  Taking part in this game you have a chance to check up how well do you know the Kazakh, English and Russian languages.

The participants of our game are the pupils of the 8^th  form. The game  consists of 4 rounds.

Today’s game will be judged by our jury. They are:

Dear participants! Pay attention to the rule of the first round please. According to the first round you can check your knowledge on the theme “Kazakhstan” and “Great Britain”. In this round 3 questions will be given for each participant. You will give your answers  in three languages.

• So, let’s start the first round “Baiga”.
